These are the two cards we will be making for March's Technique class. It's the Chalkboard technique. You can find Beate's tutorial
here. The circle card is one I copied almost exactly from
this card. The other card was inpired by
this card. All supplies are SU!. The circle card was cut using my coluzzle circle cutter. Cardstock is groovy guava and basic black. The flower images come from the Always stamp set, which I absolutely LOVE! The thank you greeting is from the All Holidays set. The card is finished off with a bow tied with black gingham ribbon. The other card uses the same
chalkboard technique. The card base is standard 4.25" x 5.5" in wild wasabi. It opens from the bottom. Layered on top of that is a 4" x 3" piece of apricot appeal prints designer series paper from SU!'s hostess paper pack. The main images are stamped with the Garden Whimsy set. The greeting is from a current Sale-a-Bration set called Lots of Thoughts. It's stamped with basic black ink on whisper white cardstock, cut out with a 1 1/2" circle punch, and layered onto regal rose cardstock punched with SU!'s scallop punch. The ribbon is 5/8" rose grosgrain. If you look closely you can see a row of flowers stamped above the ribbon. This is a row from the Happiness background stamped with wild wasabi ink.
